Exact Job Costing

The camp box goal is to provide extremely simple and economical buildings that average people can afford so that they can make their lives better, happier and more successful. A simple structure need not be 100k towards helping our affordable housing crisis, like the city ADU model. Buildings need to be actually affordable. We have minimized and designed our building down to its simplest most functional form and compressed the pricing down to round easy numbers that renders basically no profit and barely minimum wage for myself. This material cost sheet lays out the exact cost for the components of a Flat Top Box. With material cost at $2,400 with delivery, there is only $250 left for labor to build a complete house; so, you can do the math. Certainly, feel free to order all the material listed and build your own unit; the less that I have to do the happier I will be. So, as you can see, this is truly a nonprofit venture meant solely to help the community and peoples lives better, so when we ask for full payment prior to site builds you can better understand why. If customers are not willing to pay for all of the materials then we certainly do not want to be a part of their team and success; and we are certainly never going to hold anyone’s funds or not give them everything we promised. In addition, this document is a year old and all cost have increased substantially.
